If you’re looking for a FUN Halloween activity this one is a must-try! MONSTER NOODLES ANYONE?

Fill that sensory bin with some dyed spaghetti and plastic eyeballs for a MONSTER of a time! I promise your littles will LOVE squishing, pulling, and wiggling their fingers through this cool pasta and because of that, I guarantee you’ll get in a sip or CUP of coffee! HA!
Read on to set up your very own Halloween Sensory Play activity!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Spaghetti
- Food Dye (gel: 3 drops each color/ regular: 8-10 drops)
- Vegetable Oil
- Water
- Optional: Plastic Eyeballs
WHAT TO DO:
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cool water. Divide and separate spaghetti into gallon size storage bags. Add food dye and 1/4 cup water to each bag. Close tightly and mix until noodles are well coated. Once you get your desired color, toss the pasta in a strainer and rinse with water. Add a small amount of oil to noodles to help prevent sticking. ENJOY!
My girls ABSOLUTELY LOVED this! They played for a good hour, then I put it in the fridge and pulled it out the next day for some more fun! After that, I did toss it because, well, it is food and I just don’t think we should be keeping it for that long… it might get a bit YUCKY. BUT, Ā we all enjoyed this activity and will definitely be dyeing pasta for more sensoryĀ play again!
Let us know if you give it a try! Happy October!
