Preschool Fall Fine Motor

Fall is here and I’ve got a fun preschool fine motor activity that I know you’ll just love!

Have you ever let your child paint with q-tips? If no, then here is your nudge to give it a try.

In the early years, it is so important to give preschoolers opportunities to build their fine motor skills. Painting with q-tips is one way you can do this.

For the fall season I have created these fun fine motor q-tip dot painting pages.

Each full page print out includes an autumn picture and word. Your child will dip and dot paint using q-tips.

When a child holds a small cotton bud in their hand they are working on their pencil grip. As they dip and dot the q-tip in paint to create a specific image, they are making precise movements which require control and help to build hand-eye coordination.

In this preschool fine motor pack you will get 15 fall themed pages. These pages are perfect for at home learning, choice time, or even will work in an art center.
