Paper plate pumpkins are a classic kids fall/Halloween craft activity. They are simple, cute, and make for the perfect preschool craft.

I love having this Halloween craft activity on my must-do list each year because it gets kids painting, cutting, and gluing with minimal prep.

NOW IT’S TIME TO GET CRAFTY!
- Give your child a paper plate and some orange paint. Have them paint the entire face of the plate orange and set aside to dry.
- While they are waiting for their plate to dry have them cut out two eyes and a mouth shape from the black construction paper. Let them cut any shapes they want. Glue these onto the paper plate once it dries.
- Next, your pumpkin Halloween craft will need a stem. Have your child cut out a rectangle stem from the brown construction paper and glue it to the back top of the plate.
- Last it’s time to add a green vine. For the pumpkin craft vine I used a hole puncher to punch a small hole at the top of my paper plate and then added a twisty green pipe cleaner.
- Now hang and enjoy your preschool craft all season long!

So CUTE! What do you think? Will you be adding this fun pumpkin preschool craft to your Halloween activity list?
